Features
Packed full of features that everyone will love.
We understand the importance of the library and librarians. So we’ve designed Accessit Library – not as a peripheral system, but as essential to the operation of the entire school.

Lighten your load
Accessit automates day-to-day tasks such as cataloguing and emailing overdues. Plus tight integration with student administration systems means student details are always up to date.

So much functionality
As well as searching, students can renew, reserve, book, read and write reviews, and create citations. They can even check on their current loans and overdue items, see their lending history, reviews, and more.

Accessit One Search
With One Search, teachers, librarians and students can check all local and online content with a single search. Results can also be pulled from other sites such as public libraries, websites and online databases, including your online subscriptions.

A system with 'wow' factor
A modern, dynamic library system that supports multi-lingual and multi-campus environments. Accessit is a system that you can be proud to put in front of your users. Not only will you love using it, but your students will too.

Easy to use
We’ve made Accessit intuitive and easy to use. But beneath its attractive interface, this library management system puts you in control of more resources and information than ever before. Accessit is a one-stop shop for all of your resources.

Quick to learn
Accessit is so intuitive, you’ll soon be a power-user. Plus, with over a hundred video tutorials available, you can get a refresher whenever you need it. Our support team is fast, friendly and understanding. They’re real people, with library experience, who will assist you personally and listen to your feedback.

A system that saves you time

A single place for all of your resources
Providing easy accessibility to all your educational/school resources can be a challenge. Accessit allows you to store all of your resources in the one place, maximising their accessibility. Not only that, Accessit’s powerful search tools will locate resources despite phonetic spelling or misspelling of words.
Don’t want all your collections on display? Accessit allows you to hide collections from certain users, meaning you can catalogue all your resources (such as your school/teacher resources) and find and track them, without the students even knowing they’re there.

A system to engage and motivate your users
The Accessit Web App is attractive and intuitive to use. You can customise the home screen to reflect your school, adding your unique school logo and colours, and add relevant content such as book carousels and news items based on the age and interests of your students.
We’ve found that giving users control over their personal library dashboard motivates them to take control of their own library experience. They can check on their current loans, reserves and overdues, renewing items if needed; and select areas of interest so they are alerted when new resources matching their interests have been added to the catalogue.

So much more than a circulation tool
Accessit Library makes your library accessible anywhere, anytime and on any device. Being able to research during class or at home, placing reserves on-the-go, creating lists, and writing book reviews brings the library back into focus as an integral part of the learning journey. For teachers, being able to share lists of resources with their students, promote resources for the topics they are teaching, as well as link reading lists to their online learning platform makes their work much easier.

Our support is second to none
We care about offering you high quality support. Our support team is made up of librarians and school IT specialists with a wealth of knowledge, ready and waiting to help. Not only that, most of our support team have used Accessit previously in schools. Your annual license covers all your support which means you can call or email us as often as you like.
You’ll also have full access to our Accessit Library eLearning Centre (ALeC) and the Accessit Library Customer Portal where you can watch video tutorials and read targeted help articles. In addition, every year we travel around New Zealand, Australia and the UK on our annual Accessit Roadshow Training Series, offering professional development and meeting our customers face-to-face.

Always evolving, always improving
Our mission is to foster a life-long love of learning, reading and discovery. It’s about using multiple layers of information to bring subjects to life, enabling exploration, and making the journey of discovery fun. So while our library system is very powerful, and does some really clever things under the hood, we’ve put a lot of effort into making it intuitive and easy to use – for everyone.
We have a team of developers who are always responding to feature requests and improving functionality, and a product that has evolved with our customers over its 25 year history. As a customer, you are automatically entitled to all updates and new versions by way of your annual license. Never pay to upgrade again!
We’re really proud of what we do, and how our system makes a huge difference for librarians and schools worldwide. We welcome your feedback and suggestions for new features, and our customers overwhelmingly tell us that they love the responsiveness of the Accessit team to their needs.
A system that saves you time
Accessit Library is a smart, elegant and intuitive system that you’ll love using. Day-to-day tasks are automated, streamlining your workflow and freeing you up to focus on your students. Z39.50 servers automate the cataloguing process, and you can print and customise your own barcodes and spine labels. Reports are quick to produce, and you can create and save your own specialised reports.
